The Pitched roof houses are located in Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia.
The form of these houses are akin to the local architectural context within the surrounding area. Creating a simple yet functional form being its main focus, the house is built to create a defined space between its interior and exterior.
High pitched roofs create an emphasis on the site whereby it falls slightly lower than usual. In order to ensure adequate amount of natural lighting to the interior space, the end of each pitch uses transparent poly-carbonated sheets.
